I was interested in learning recent aesthetic advances in Dermatology; and so I thoroughly researched various institutions in order to determine where best to learn the appropriate skills. I came across Aura Skin Institute in Chandigarh, India and was immediately impressed by their presentation and the qualifications and achievements of their lead Dermatologist, Dr Suruchi Garg. I soon made contact and on arrival was greeted by a friendly professional team, following the guidance and international standards which I was used to. I took 8-weeks advanced course and my training consisted of hands-on experience in chemical peels, dermaroller, micro-dermabrasion, suture-less ear lobe repair, radio-frequency for removal of skin lesions and minor surgery. There was thorough teaching of resurfacing and rejuvenative laser techniques, as well as body contouring and hair transplant. There was also opportunity to learn application of botox and fillers. I would highly recommend Aura Skin Institute; for their teaching is thorough and it leaves you with a feeling that you have achieved something substantial apart from making friends for life!

I was doing my two years Residency Program in Family Medicine in University of British Columbia, Canada. I consider myself fortunate to have spent four weeks of my Dermatology international elective rotation at Aura Skin Institute, Chandigarh. Dr Suruchi Garg is a very knowledgeable person and I learnt a lot from her in those four weeks. I was impressed with the variety of skin conditions that they come across and treat in this clinic.
